The Château Lafitte wines are first of all the result of a close collaboration between man and nature, where wine making meets talent and discipline, a sense of detail and perfection.

After a long and soft pressing, the grapes rape goes into inox tanks. Turning down the temperature allows the mud to separate from the light juice. Once the organic yeast is added, the wine starts its fermentation.

The DOUX TRADITION is made with the Gros Manseng grapes, raised in inoxydable and thermo tanks, meticulously regulated and controlled during 6 months.

As for the CUVÉE LISON and CUVÉE MARINE, they are mainly made with our precious Petit Manseng grapes, including some Gros Manseng as well to get the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. We keep them during 10 months in oak barrels laid upon thin dregs and evenly stirred, before being finally put to rest.
